You may begin training at any time of year.
Just ring on 021.112.0888 (Paul) or 027.341.5450 (Steve) for more details if you want to know more before starting. Prospective students may show up at the door on training days, Wednesdays from 18.00 or on Sundays from 10.30. Our Gwoon (Training Hall) is located at 66 Dixon Street, Level 1. As the doors may be locked, simply ring one of the numbers above to be let in. Please do not be late.
You may attend one class free of charge. If you decide you like it and wish to come back to train, we shall ask for a one-time monthly fee of $30 for your first month.
After this, our fees are $50 per month, payable in 3-month instalments, in advance. We prefer that you deposit your fees via Internet banking, but you may pay as you wish. You may end training at any time.
The Siu Nim Tau form is the basic entry technique in Wing Tsun Kung Fu. All students begin with this form, which is accompanied by drills.
Training provided by the Wellington Wing Tsun Club includes Siu Nim Tau (Little Idea Form); Chum Kiu (Arm-seeking Form); Biu Tze (Thrusting fingers Form); Chi Sau (Arm-clinging exercise), Muk Yan Chong Fa (Wooden Dummy Techniques); Luk-Dim-Boon-Kwun (Six-&-a Half-point Long Pole Techniques); Bart Cham Dao Fa (Eight-Cutting Broadswords Techniques) and Free Fighting Techniques.
An incremental grading system is used to test each practitioner as he or she advances through the system. Teaching speed is based on your progress.
There are two classes per week: Wednesdays: 18.00-20.00 Sundays: 10.30-12.00
